Hi I’m inviting everyone to Arashi Tsinoy & Wenidokane Wno’s annual Jun- Arashi Party . 

REMINDERS:

(1) To register, kindly email to junarashiparty@gmail.com the following :

> complete name (first and last names)
> email address
> mobile number
> username (indicate if it’s for your twitter or lj, [et al] account, one username will do)
* We are doing this so that we can get in touch with you in case there will be changes/reminders. 

(2) How to go there :

By car : from RCBC Plaza go straight (dela Costa St.), turn left on Metropolitan Street (landmarks > BPI, Meralco), turn left again on Sacred Heart Street (landmark > BDO)

By public transport : 

(2a) From MRT Ayala

> jeep( Ayala) and go down at RCBC Plaza, walk to Makati Fire Station, tricycle (red) and tell the driver to take you to YMCA or Sacred Heart Church

(2b) from MRT Magallanes

> jeep to PRC, go down Kamagong Street or Sacred Heart Street

*in case you get lost, or the taxi / tricycle / jeep driver / people you ask are not familiar with the area, please tell them it’s right in front of National Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

(3) If you have already registered but need to back-out due to inevitable circumstances, please advise the organizers immediately, so that we can have other people register. (please read #4 for the reason)

(4) After confirming, you need to pay the whole amount regardless if you are coming or not because we have included you in the budget already (if you cannot come, we will still give your souvenir)

(5) The Jun/Arashi party venue is the same as last year. This may be a little far from some but this is the only venue we can find which can accommodate our expected number of attendees. We hope you understand. 

(6) Registration will be closed on August 28, 2012

JPop Fest: The Grand Event! [UPDATED]

I'm lazy to do a proper post so I'll post this draft here and fix everything later :D 

And so, my throat (and wallet) survived the first ever Philippines JPop Fest and I actually had fun. It’s great to see fellow Arashians and JPop enthusiasts in the event. What’s more amazing is to see them actually perform on stage.

Various local JPop Fans Club (FC as we call them) did a short introduction and presentation of their clubs. I wasn’t able to get pics or videos of it since I arrived late. There are more than 10 clubs and all are accepting members to join.

I never thought the “Band Battle Royale” would last THAT long… Most fans are eager to start the JPop Dance competition. Out of the band performances, my favorite would be NEXT’s cover of SMAP’s “Kimi iro Omoi” (Akazukin Cha-cha). I miss that song! I was enjoying a lot that I forgot to take a vid of the first part. Lolz!

Philippines’ First JPop Event

And it’s finally here! Philippines’ first grand event for JPop Enthusiasts!

 

When: March 11, 2012 / 10AM-9PM Where: SM Megatrade Hall 1 Fee: PhP175

 

“J-Pop Fest: The Grand Event” is organized by JAPANICE PRODUCTION in cooperation with KFEST MANILA EVENTS MANAGEMENT. The event is also made possible by partnership with SM MEGATRADE and co-presented by ODYSSEY MUSIC & VIDEO, PHILIPPINES. The event aims to gather JPop enthusiasts nationwide for one whole day of flailing, fun, idols and music.

 

Dance contests, band competition, ramen eating contest, trivia games will run freely all throughout the event. Various official JPop items and merchandise will also be sold at the said event so if you’re an avid fan like me (I’m a rabid Arashi fan), I hope you saved up for the event. Familiar with “Wenidokane” and “Red Monster Shop”? They’re all there.

 

Local fan clubs will be representing JPop idol groups as they participate in the event. With them around, attendees will sure learn more of their group and idols. So, are you a JPop fan? Go to the event and find people who shares the same interests as you!

 

Now for my personal choices… GO ARASHI AND KISSUMAI!!!!! WOOOOOOT!!!!!

Summary:In time for the Valentines season, Sakura, a magazine aimed for female readers, is in search for models to conquer their covers. This time, Arashi was graced for the said shoot and as if by fate, Sakura went out from their usual choice of photographer and hired Jo Sashika for the job. Note here: Jo is a professional photographer who graduated with honors in France. “Frank” and “brutally straight” are exact words which can describe Jo and to add some fuel into the fire, seems like Jo simply can't get along with Matsujun. Can Arashi handle the pressure?
